View From The Crypt
I really love this photo for a number of reasons. The first being the amount of detail in the black and white imagery. You have detail both in the highlights, and the shadows, allowing for a perfectly balanced photograph. The second reason this photo catches my eyes is the angles. The photographer managed to capture the best point of view to get all the staircases into view. Finally, the shot is well lit with nearly flawless lighting.
