Hi, still new in the game, need advise if I take a photo of a group of people what do I need to do to get every once face’s to come out clear in the photo. I normally shoot on Manual but can get everyone in focus?

Hello I have the Rebel xti and for the past month it hasn’t been able to focus.AAaaah. I haven’t dropped it or banged it. I have babied my camera for over a year now and all of a sudden it’s not focusing! Eeek help. Thank you.

Great info, however have a question. I AM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO TAKE A PICTURE ON THE REBEL XTi AND THEN ZOOM IN AND SAVE IT THAT WAY? Can anyone tell me how to take a picture and then zoom in on the camera and save it that way? Is this possible via the camera?

Had this camera for a couple of years, shoot mostly in raw, set on AV.
Nice to finally find out what the rest of the buttons are for.

have u ever encounter problem like this : the image you shoot tends to be yellower than the reality, I’m using a Tamaron lens, anyway to fix that or it’s an lens issue. thnx

Thank you for taking the time to decode the manuel. I purchased this camera a little over a year ago. I LOVE IT but it was a bit confusing with all the different features. I have been wanting to shoot in the raw mode & I could NOT figure it out to save my life, thanks to you I will be on my way. I have my manuel but somehow it was damaged by a liquid, so I have been guessing at things. Once again thank you.

I have an s5is and have had a lot of fun w/ it.This had a meter in M mode to get the best shot, does th xti have it??
So far I love the xti but do miss the live screen for those quick shots.

Lee, I ran into the same thing about setting the owner’s name.

Since nobody seems to be able to answer the question or post the answer, here goes. Connect your camera to your computer and open the EOS utility.

Click on the “tools” icon in the lower-right corner. Set the owner’s name.

Good info. Purchased XTi in May ’08 still have not figured out how to get my name in “owners name” field on my pics. Hit dozens of websites, including Canons still no luck. Any idea?
